As required by the FCC, CIPA and E-Rate guidelines any
student that uses the internet must receive instruction on internet safety in
the areas of cyber bullying, appropriate online behavior and social networking.
Schools have until May 9, 2014 to complete the required hours as indicated for
the various grade levels in the chart below and submit the documentation to me
at the central office.

The pacing guide serves as a suggestion. It is not a traditional curriculum, but rather an adaptable resource that can fit into the demanding curriculain today's schools. The activities can be used in any order and can fit almost any time frame, allowing you to customize the integration of the resources to suit your students' needs.

As with all instructional videos shown in class, the videos suggested should be viewed prior to the showing to students.
